What makes a life truly rich? When we look back on the moments that matter most, we usually don’t remember what we owned or accomplished. We remember the people who shared those moments with us.
In my recent sermon, “You Weren’t Made to Go It Alone,” we explored the treasure of meaningful relationships. Drawing on Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 and John 15:12–15, we discovered that God created us for friendship, community, and belonging. We weren’t meant to navigate life entirely on our own.
But meaningful relationships don’t happen automatically. They require time, attention, and a willingness to love and be loved.
That’s why I’ve created a free 5-Day Bible Reading Plan and Devotional Guide.
Through daily Scripture readings and reflections, this devotional explores how relationships strengthen us, how Christian community shapes our faith, and how Jesus teaches us to love one another. It concludes with a reflection on the communion of saints, reminding us that we belong to a community of faith that extends across generations.
My hope is that this devotional will encourage you to invest more intentionally in the relationships that matter most—and perhaps take one simple step toward deepening a friendship or helping someone else experience a greater sense of belonging.
A truly rich life isn’t measured by how many people we know, but by the relationships in which we experience and share God’s love.
